Customize your burger however you'd like. amazing fries and dude was fast. Had my food within minutes of ordering. Definitely worth a stop.
It is a dive bar on the river and has outdoor seating too. We come here every time we are in town. They have the BEST burgers ever!!! I say this because I'm really picky about ordering burgers at places because I am picky I can make a burger at home. But this place is gooooodddd!! Try this place. Service is always friendly! I highly recommend!
We stopped here to grab a quick bite to eat and ended up sitting on the patio watching the river flow by for almost an hour as we enjoyed some very good food. The bartender/server/cook/I'm sure everything else needs a raise. He was super friendly and very outgoing.my wife had a hamburger and I had a Philly cheesesteak. One of the best Philly cheesesteaks I have ever had. It brought me back to the times that we would drive to Philadelphia to eat. I highly recommend this place.
Le Claire is a really cute town but I couldn't decide what to grab for lunch. Settle on this for a burger based on other reviews but to be honest I wasn't confident when I drove up. The place is clean and nice (for a place that has a pool table as you walk in. There was only one person working most of the time but dang she was on it! Food was hot and tasty. She cooked and served. Eventually a server showed up. I was surprised to see lots more women having lunch here than guys having a couple of beers. Am sure the crowd varies by time of day but lunch was definitely different than expected. There are a couple of tables outside, front and back. The view of the river is nice and there are big TVs for watching ball. Tables as well as a bar area inside.
A great, fun bar with excellent views of the river and train tracks. Service was amazing- such nice people. It was a very casual atmosphere. I had a chicken sandwich and the grilled jalapeños really put it over the top. The popcorn was so good and the pretzels they had at the bar were amazing! I highly recommend stopping for a solid down home midwestern bar experience - certainly a must if in la Claire.
